Mindfulness weekly practice sessions

The Mindfulness Association Belgium (MAB) will collaborate in 2020 with Robin Creswell-Faure - a fully qualified Mindfulness teacher - who will lead group sessions of practices and exchanges once a week.

The practices proposed by Robin come from the Jon Kabat Zhin school

of Mindfulness, and although different they are compatible with

the practices taught at the Mindfulness Association.

The teacher

 

Robin Creswell-Faure has been practicing mindfulness meditation for the last 13 years. Nineof these in the tradition of Zen Buddhist teacher Thích Nhất Hạnh and the last four years returning to university to study at one of the top Mindfulness teacher-training programs in the Uk, the MSc in mindfulness based cognitive therapy and approaches at Exeter University.

This program, which combines the study of Neuroscience, Buddhist psychology and Cognitive Behavioral therapy,provides an extensive preparation for teaching both Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBSR/MBCT). 

Mindfulness weekly practice sessions

Have you done a mindfulness course but are finding it hard to establish or maintain a daily practice ?

Do you have an off-and-on relationship with meditation and would like the support of a group of like-minded people who meet together every week to share the practice ? 

Are you looking to refresh and develop your practice under the guidance of a qualified Mindfulness teacher ?

It can be difficult once you’ve completed a Mindfulness course or been on a meditation retreat to maintain a daily Mindfulness practice without the support of a group. These weekly practice sessions will cover different aspects of Mindfulness and are designed to help and support a regular meditation practice.

Who for :  Anyone who’s completed an 8-week Mindfulness course and is hoping to refresh or establish a regular Mindfulness practice.  Or anyone who has an established meditation practice and wants the support of a regular group.

Language : The course will be taught in English and translated into French.

When :

Every Tuesday lunchtime between 12:30 and 13:30 (not during school/public holidays)

 

What you’ll need :

It is advised to wear lose comfortable clothing but meditation cushions, chairs, blankets etc. will be provided.

10 euros – Drop-in

8 euros  – Students/unemployed/artists

50 euros – 10 session card
